What to Expect After Opting Out
- Allow 8 to 12 weeks for marketing mail to taper off. Print and mail drops are often scheduled weeks ahead, so one or two mailings may still arrive.
- Order confirmations, policy documents, billing, and other account mail are separate from promotional appeals and may continue if you remain a customer or donor.
- A new purchase, donation, or account update can put your address back on a marketing list and require a fresh opt-out.
- Prescreened credit and insurance offers also opt out through OptOutPrescreen, the federal bureau opt-out. That path is not the same as Avant’s own marketing list.
