Amica is the 1907 mutual insurer. A.T. Vigneron founded the Automobile Mutual Insurance Company of America in Providence, and Amica is the oldest mutual insurer of automobiles in the United States. Offices moved to Lincoln, Rhode Island in 1994. They still sell the policyholder-owned story and service any time, day or night. Customers still get account and policy mail after marketing stops.
