Why Do You Receive Reagan Ranch Mail?
Reagan Ranch is Rancho del Cielo, the Santa Barbara ranch Young America’s Foundation has kept since 1998. They call it the Western White House and pair it with the Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon, Illinois. The Foundation itself started at Vanderbilt in 1969. The older campus arm, Young Americans for Freedom, dates to 1960 at William F. Buckley Jr.’s house. They share donor names with other groups for more direct mail. The mailer is a fundraising ask for the ranch and those student programs, not a tour ticket.
