-
Phone
Call Catalog Classics at +1-800-669-5225. Ask customer service to stop catalog mail. That is not the order-only line.
A phone request can take 5 to 10 minutes or longer, depending on the phone tree, hold time, and whether they offer a callback.
What to Expect After Opting Out
- Allow 8 to 12 weeks. You may get one more catalog while they process the request. They ask you to wait 4 to 6 weeks. Allow 8 to 12 weeks if a later drop was already labeled.
- Transactional mail is separate. Stopping promotional print catalogs does not stop orders, shipments, or other account mail if you shop.
- Sister catalogs are separate lists. Sister brands at Potpourri Group share mailing addresses so they can send more catalogs. Stopping Catalog Classics does not clear every title in that group.
Why Do You Receive Catalog Classics Mail?
Catalog Classics mail is handled on Signals customer service. Signals, founded in 1985, is part of Potpourri Group Inc. PGI started with one catalog in 1963 and now runs a stack of print catalogs from North Billerica, Massachusetts. Sister brands share mailing addresses so they can send more catalogs.
You get this mail if you ordered, requested a catalog, or landed on a Potpourri Group list they share. One Signals order is often enough. Other PGI titles can keep arriving after this list is removed.
How to Prevent General Junk Mail Proactively
-
DMAchoice
DMAchoice is the Association of National Advertisers' mail preference service. An $8 registration asks about 1,100 participating national companies to suppress your address from prospect promotional mail for 10 years. It does not cover local mailers, charity appeals, companies you already buy from, or occupant / current-resident saturation mail. Allow 90 days or longer.
NOTE: DMAchoice will not stop mail from Catalog Classics as it is not an active member of the ANA.
-
OptOutPrescreen
OptOutPrescreen is the official Consumer Credit Reporting Industry site. It lets you opt out of firm offers of credit and insurance for 5 years or permanently.
NOTE: OptOutPrescreen will not opt you out of Catalog Classics mail. It only covers prescreened credit card and insurance offers.
-
PaperKarma
For local and regional mailers, coupon packs, charity donation requests, and the large share of junk mail that DMAchoice does not cover, the PaperKarma app has the largest U.S. registry, with over 100,000 mailers on file.
Your Data Privacy Rights (CCPA & Beyond)
A promotional opt-out stops Catalog Classics marketing mail. It does not always stop the underlying address from being shared. If you live in a state with an active consumer privacy law (California’s CCPA and several others), you can request access to or deletion of your personal information, and you can opt out of sale, share, or targeted advertising.
Go to the Contact Us page, or call +1-800-669-5225, and ask for a deletion or do-not-share request, and to opt out of catalog mail.
Frequently asked questions
How long until Catalog Classics mail stops?
They ask for 4 to 6 weeks and say you may get one more catalog. Allow 8 to 12 weeks if a later drop was already labeled. If a catalog arrives during that window, it was likely already printed before your request was processed.
How do I stop Catalog Classics mail for a previous resident?
Go to the Contact Us page, choose Remove from Catalog Mailing List, and enter that person’s name and this address, or call +1-800-669-5225, or use the PaperKarma app to scan the catalog label, mark the recipient as a previous resident, and submit the opt-out. Do not mark the person as deceased unless they are deceased.
Will Catalog Classics mail stop if I move?
Not automatically. Catalog lists are tied to a specific name and address. Submit a new Remove from Catalog Mailing List request for the new address, or use the PaperKarma app there.
