Why Do You Receive Albertsons Mail?
Albertsons is a grocery chain. Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, opened the first store on 16th and State in Boise in 1939 with L.S. Skaggs. Albertsons Companies now runs stores in 35 states and the District of Columbia under about 20 names. Safeway is one of them. The mail is weekly ads, for U offers, and other store promotions.
You get that mail if you shop, joined for U, or live near a store they mail. Stopping Albertsons does not automatically stop Safeway or the rest of that company.
